About Me
I’m Aya, live in London (NW Westminster) and originally from Egypt. I’m now working in nursery aged 3-4 as an apprentice in Hanwell. I have so many interests in working with children from aged 3 - 9 and looking forward to support parents when they’re busy, I am available to babysit on Thursdays and weekends, bank holidays not until very late.
I am a hardworking and honest individual I have a patient & friendly approach and am looking to learn new skills as well as build on my current skills. I’m also talkative when it comes to children, making them laugh, making conversation, taking them out having a cute treats to make them happy and special, playing, drawing and especially I love baking with children. I would love to babysit complete their homework, reading whatever it is. I’m here for it. My hobbies is travelling, music, going out, shopping.
My Experience
I have quite few experience in working with children as volunteer, primary school and current job in nursery.
My responsibility and role at the nursery were to:
• To help and support children with their schoolwork or practice their homework with them and making sure they understand the work property.
• I assisted the teacher with supervising the children during lessons and breaks.
• I also helped with tidying the classroom to make sure everything is good.
• To keep children safe, happy, and well looked after through appropriately meeting their daily care needs.
During college I was, I also had another unpaid work experience as a nursery assistant for 2 months. My responsibility in the nursery was, to look after the children, play with children whatever activity they like to do, we also take children to the park,etc.
This placement helped me with my confidence and communication both with the children and staff members. It was instrumental in confirming that I wished to work in this field to achieve this.
My current job Hanwell Montessori nursery as an apprentice.
My responsibility is:
• Supervise and observe children at all the times.
• Worked with SEN children. (nonverbal language and Autism)
• Giving feedback to the parents and maintain a good relationship with everyone and parents.
• Providing activities and setting up every morning and through the day for children
• Assisting children in developing good behavior and showing their kind hands to others.
• Creating accident, medication and incident forms.
• Observation forms
• Changing nappies and keeping them clean and clothes clean through the day.
• Tidying up the areas
• Serving children snack am/pm, lunch and tea time.
My Qualifications
I’ve been studying health and social care level 2 after passing level 1 in 2020 and now I finished college. Modules include:

• Safeguarding
• Health and safety for children
Completed the following training course:
Paediatric first aid blended learning
And finally I’m currently doing level 3 childcare in nursery.
My Availability
I am working in nursery as an apprentice on Mon/Tues/Wed and Fri only. I’m free on Thursdays and on weekends if you really need help, I’m here for you anytime.
