Hi, my name is Vanessa, born in Portugal, I have lived in England for over 30 years, I have a daughter of my own aged 6 years. I am very bubbly around children (they bring it out of me) I’m organised, friendly, patient and a reliable person, I like to keep my self busy hence why I always work with children, they keep me on my toes, I like sports ie football, baseball, rollerskating, iceskating, I am adventurers and like to challenge myself and experience new things. I would also like to note that I don’t celebrate birthdays, Christmas and some events because of my religion. Really hope that doesn’t put you off. Can’t wait to meet your lovely family.
My Experience
My experience in childcare is 13 years. I have worked in nurseries, crèche, after school club and a school. Ages I have worked with from 6 months-16 years old. I have planned for childrens healthy snack, activities, I have had at least 15 key children at one of the setting I worked in. I have some experience working with SEN childrenI like to work in partnership with parents so that we can see the child develop more and learn about their child.
My Qualifications
I currently hold a diploma level 3 in children and young people workforce.I like challenging myself and because children are my main priority when I’m my care, I have taken many childcare courses such as; safeguarding, child protection, welfare requirements, first aid, food and hygiene, managing challenging behaviour, SEND, plus many more, all can be shown upon arrival.
My Availability
I am available from 8:30 in the morning until 6pm mon-fri. I am able to do some holidays weekday with advance.
