About Me
Lovell’s Daycare is a warm, home-from-home childcare setting located in Gillingham, less than a mile from Gillingham train station. We are conveniently positioned near several local schools, including Robert Napier (0.3 miles), Barnsole Primary (0.3 miles), and The Academy of Woodlands (0.7 miles).
We provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow, play, and thrive. Our setting includes a spacious, dedicated playroom and an enclosed garden, accessible all year round. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate activities inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, supporting all areas of your child’s development.
At Lovell’s Daycare, we have a strong passion for creative (and often messy!) play, and we make the most of daily outings to local parks, country parks, and engaging learning-based playgroups. We are a setting that values real-world experiences, regularly exploring our community and encouraging children to discover the wonder of nature, cultural diversity, and the world around them. We believe that hands-on experiences nurture curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
As a mother myself, I understand the trust it takes to leave your child in someone else’s care. My experience raising two children (born in 2017 and 2022) has deepened my empathy, patience, and understanding of children’s emotional and developmental needs—qualities I bring into my childcare practice every day.
Nutritious, balanced meals are provided daily, and we’re happy to work with parents to accommodate specific dietary needs, including intolerances.

My Experience
Together, we bring over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages from newborns to teenagers. We have hands-on experience supporting children with a wide range of additional needs, including non-verbal and neurodivergent children.
We understand that every child is unique, and we take pride in tailoring our care to suit individual needs. By working closely with parents, carers, and professionals, we ensure each child receives consistent, compassionate support in a setting where they can feel safe, confident, and valued.

As a professional childcare provider, I feel it is important to keep up to date with the latest developments, which I will continue to do through certified training courses.

Katie provides amazing an amazing setting and amazing care! My son started with Katie in September and can’t wait to go there daily. She is a great childminder who provides a range of educational and fun activities and trips such as days out to Greenwich and to the zoo. She provides healthy and nutritious meals and my son never comes home hungry. As a character she is trustworthy, professional, kind and treats my son as though her own. Katie provides an open line of communication daily as well as pictures and updates. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for my son to such a high standard.

Katie is a brilliant childminder who always makes sure the children in her care have a great experience.
My daughter always looks forward with spending time with Katie, and enjoys the fun activities planned.
Whether it's taking them out to various places, or organising craft activities at home.
She's been really great with my daughter by supporting elimination communication, potty training and anything else that we need.
Would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a childminder

Our little girl has been going to Katie for almost a year now and I can honestly say our little girl loves and adores Katie.
Being first time parents we we’re very anxious to leave our 10 month old with someone other than our friends and family but soon as we went and met Katie and her setting all that worry was put at ease!
Katie treats our girl as if she was her own, everyday they are doing something fun from attending local play groups or visiting the farm or nearby parks!
Katie is so accommodating and understanding and not only supports Olivia she supports us!
Olivia loves her time there and it makes the mum guilt so much easier knowing this!
We’re forever be thankful for Katie’s love and support she provides us with!
