About Me
Hi, I’m Evy!
I am a qualified primary school teacher and have taught children between 5-11 years. I have previously worked in a nursery, supervising children between 3months-4 years old. In my free time, I enjoy spending time at the beach. Being half Greek, I have fostered a love for languages and recognise the importance of language development and embracing culture. I have also completed my TEFL qualification to be able to teach the English language to children and adults.
My Experience
I have learnt how to teach and develop children’s knowledge and understanding. From my degree, I am aware and can apply different pedagogical approaches to support children’s critical thinking. I recognise the importance of play-based learning to engage learners and inspire creativity and try to incorporate this whenever possible. The outdoors is vital for enhancing children’s fine motor skills and I will ensure that children in my care are using nature to develop their independent and curiosity. Over the summer, I spent 3 weeks as an au pair in Spain, looking after 2 children (3 years and 7 years). This was a fantastic opportunity and definitely one I will never forget.

My Availability
I am available in the evenings and on Saturdays. I am also available everyday throughout the summer holidays.
