My Experience
I have experience in various caring roles for both adults and children. I have recently worked in a summer camp in America where I was responsible for leading the Theatre program. In my role as Camp Counsellor, I was responsible for up to 10 campers at a time aged from 5-15. This included living with them in their cabin each week. I was in charge of maintaining their physical and emotional well-being during their time at camp. I regularly babysit for a family friend who has 5 children, ages 4-13. (References available). Personally, I have a niece and nephew (ages 18 months and 4) who I also regularly babysit for.
I have further caring experience from my previous work as an Activity Coordinator in a care home for adults with learning disabilities. More recently, I have worked as a Care Assistant in care home for elderly people suffering from dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
