Hello! I am Alice, married to Henry and have two lovely and lively boys called Woody (almost 6) and Barney (3) and a dog called Mabel.
We live in Bentley and both my husband and I work in London so are looking for a nanny to do wrap around care on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help our very busy life be a little bit more manageable! For the right person we might consider more hours on a Tuesday. We very sadly just lost our amazing nanny who is moving abroad so looking for someone else.
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Nanny (5-10 years nanny/childcare experience required) for wrap around care Tuesday and Thursdays starting in September or whenever I find the right person. We need to find the right person as a priority. I’d need a nanny from 7.30am until 9am and 3.45pm-6.30/7pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. It would involve getting both of them up, dressed, breakfast and then dropping to same location (near Farnham) and then collecting them and doing tea/bedtime with them. We'd like someone to cook for the kids, put a wash on when there’s time and generally keep us organised for the days your with us.
Both my boys have a mild - moderate hearing loss and both wear hearings aids. Despite this my 5 year old has really good speech and often people don’t even realise he has a hearing loss but certain things are harder for him (same with 3 year old) on the communication side so I need someone who is experienced in dealing with young children who need extra support with some aspects of communication. The hearing aid aspect just takes time to get used to, they are fiddly at the start getting in and out but you soon get used to it. Both the boys are still very responsive without the hearing aids, they are full of energy and we need someone whos confident and capable.
I am looking for someone who ideally has at least 5-10 years experience working with young children and/or who is a mother themselves.
