My Summary

My Experience

1) When I was doing my scuba diving course in South Africa, I would Help out with birthday parties, where young kids come and learn About the joys of being underwater and have fun swimming around in the pool. This was part of my course that I did, while I was doing my Dive Masters course.

2) When I was still in school, I used to babysit my family’s friends children, so what this would look like is, I would sort out dinner for them, Play with them, tuck them in for bed, looked after them while the family went out for the evening and just got some extra cash and some experience with younger children.

3) I’ve volunteered at 2 daycare centers in Port Elizabeth South Africa, the first one is called Aurora special care center, Here is where I learned a lot about children with disabilities. I do have some experience working with children that are blind, have development delay, cerebral palsy, hearing loss and sensory processing disorders.

4)The other daycare center I volunteered at is called Kids Country Corner, I worked with children from age 2 till age 5, I did crafts and artwork with the children, I helped with lunchtime, I played with the children and I learned a lot about younger children while I was volunteering at this daycare center.

5) I was an aupair in America for two years, my program ended the end of January 2023, I lived in Chicago, ILL for two years with a lovely family and I took care of their one boy who was 12 years old when I first started. I have learned a lot, I took him to and from school, I took him to any extra classes he needed to go to, I made him breakfast every morning and lunch for school and I also made dinner for him in the evenings. When I was in America, I worked from Mondays to Fridays, so I would drop him off at school and take him to any extra classes after school, sometimes I would work on Sundays, either in the mornings, afternoons or evenings, it all depended what the family had planned for that Sunday.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

I would prefer to be paid once a week on a specific day, I am used to being paid every Friday with the work I am doing at the moment, but I am comfortable with whatever suites your family.
