About Me
My name is Gaia and I am currently a second year student studying psychology and biology at the University of Glasgow. I have grown up my whole life in Philadelphia, but chose to come to Scotland for my studies as my dad is from Edinburgh. I enjoy cooking, going for walks, meeting up with friends, reading, and am currently training for the Edinburgh half marathon at the moment! I love to stay busy and am quite outgoing, but am also very calm, organized, and responsible!
My Experience
I have been babysitting/nannying for multiple different families since I was about 12 years old. I primarily watched neighbors' kids when parents needed a date night, a couple hours to do some errands, someone to take the kids to school, etc. I was also a full time nanny in the summer of 2020, working Monday to Friday from 9 to 5.
I also spent the past summer working at a Swim School as a swim instructor, working with kids of all ages and children with disabilities. Further, I currently volunteer as a menotor with IntoUniversity in Maryhill.
I am comfortable with children of all ages, as well as with having to cook, take the kids anywhere in walking distance, and am happy to help with any schoolwork-to the best of my ability!
My Qualifications
I recieved a clear PVG check when I began my volunteer work with IntoUniversity.
My Availability
I am primarily looking for single-evening arrangements (date nights, evening outings, etc.), as with my studies I am not flexible enough for a reoccuring arrangment. I am available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, as well as weekday evenings depending on the hours I would be needed for.
