I'm originally from Nigeria and I grew up in a very large family. As the 2nd oldest child in my family, I helped raise my siblings when they were young.
After acquiring my Bachelor's degree in English, I worked as a fulltime nanny and governess for a 5-years after which I decided to follow my passion in healthcare.
I worked in the health sector as a support worker and nursing assistant, where I gained experience caring for mothers, infants and also, volunteered to support the COVID19 response during the peak of the pandemic.
These experiences inspired my current journey to pursue a masters degree in global health and environment at the Royal Holloway University, London.
I have years of experience caring for children from newborn to 14-years old, including being the primary parent of my 4-year old son. I'm passionate about this work, which means I enjoy planning fun activities to engage all the senses and help my charges build on their own, independent play.
