I am a kind, gentle, nurturing nanny who is calm and organised. I have good skills in the kitchen and can create nourishing meals as I previously trained in natural health. I am an honest and clear communicator and can support children and families during emotional times. Children feel safe in my company and I want to ensure they feel confident to express themselves and feel encouraged and supported in all they choose to do. I care for the health of the family and the family unit.
I love animals and to be outside. I care deeply about the earth and like to be conscientious with the food I buy and the products I use. I would suit a family who enjoys this more eco-friendly lifestyle. I love to help children learn and can happily assist with school work. I also enjoy rainy day activities including making crafts or cooking. I love to swim, and can confidently support this activity. I am happy to be involved with all aspects of childcare, including keeping up to date with children's laundry, tidying bedrooms, diary management etc. I am also happy to do batch cooking, or help with family meals to ease the pressure of daily life on the parents.
My Experience
I have many years experience working with children in various settings, from residential schools, foster care, school support and in family homes. Prior to relocating to Dorset I was a nanny two days per week for a 5 year-old and 8 year-old girl. Alongside this I also looked after a 1 year-old boy.
Now in Dorset I do ad-hoc nanny work for a 5 year-old boy and 8 year-old girl including weekend care when their parents are away. I also do occasional full-time rota cover for a 10-month-old girl for 5 days at a time.
My Qualifications
GNVQ3 in Health and Social Care
BSc Hons in Psychology, Human Biology and Education
BSc Hons in Osteopathy and Naturopathy
Professional Practitioner of Shamanic Healing
My Availability
My preference is a 2 or 3 day-per week role, but I would consider more or less for the right family. I currently work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but there is flexibility to change these days. I can offer some weekend cover, but not on a weekly basis. I would prefer not to work split shifts, unless the family is close by.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
My current fees are set at the market rate of £20 per hour with a 24 hour rate between £200 to £250. If you feel I would be a good fit for your family and some negotiation is required on my fees, please do contact me.
