About Me
My name is Maria and I have been working with children my whole life. As a dedicated and highly motivated teacher of 25 years, and one to one tutor. I have developed many skills and have vast experience in working with different aged children and adults with different disabilities and in different environments.
I work with SEN students and autistic children. I currently look after a severely disabled child requiring overnight stays when necessary.
On a daily basis I work as a one to one teacher of Maths, Polish and German. I prepare the students for their GCSE and A level exams. I am Head of Sixth Form at the Polish Saturday School where I prepare the students for A level. I organise the weekly lessons at the Polish School and help guide the GCSE teachers. I also enjoy teaching the guitar and singing with the children.
I try to bring warmth, fun and laughter into my lessons by emphasising learning through play which is at the core of my work. Children always feel safe in my company. I work on improving their confidence which in turn inproves their motivation and grades. I focus on the childs individual needs and push them to reach their full potential.

I am looking for a job ideally from 6.00am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. I am also available most evenings and available for overnight stays throughout the whole week.

I have over 25 years of experience as a Teacher including 6 years in SEN Department at college working also with disable children.
My Qualifications
Teacher qualifications including SEN and Elklan course (Speech and Language Support for children). Teacher of Mathematics, Polish Language and Guitar.
Languages spoken: English, Polish, Russian and German.

I have know Maria for three years and could not think about any other better person who could look after my children. Maria is friendly and positive person, very trustworthy and honest. She works hard and do what you expect her to do. Maria not only looks after the children but also teach them English, Maths and Music.
Children love her and cannot wait when she will be back. She cares about the children and put their needs first.
