About Me
I am a second year student at Durham University working towards a bachelor's degree in Geoscience, looking for part-time work as a babysitter. I am very friendly, attentive, playful, responsible and a dependable worker. As a geoscience student, I spend hours on the field and have thus gained an affinity for the outdoors which I love to share with kids. I am also quite creative and enjoy making crafty items for friends and family and am a massive film enthusiast, and I enjoy bringing these hobbies to children. As I have been globetrotting my whole life, I have gained an appreciation for different cultures and am adaptable and confident in challenging situations.
My Experience
I have experience tutoring English and Maths to underprivileged children ages 5-11 at the Citizen's Education Development Foundation in Karachi, Pakistan. Besides this, I have babysat for my little cousins as well as my nephew on several occasions and am really enthusiastic about caring for children and contributing to their personal development.
My Qualifications
Although I don't have professional qualifications as I am only 19, I am an enthusiastic and dedicated worker and my experience volunteering at the Citizen's Education Development Foundation taught me how to build trust and rapport with children.
My Availability
I am mostly available in the evening/night, but my schedule is fairly flexible and can be catered towards your needs.
