We have two boys, who will be aged 6 and 1 year old in August 2024.
I'm in (almost) full time work, my wife is full time with our baby, but has additional responsibilities.
We take an approach to parenting that respects children as people in their own right, try to have lots of fun, and seek to understand where problematic behaviour is coming from rather than to simply clamp down on the behaviour directly.
My Requirements
POSITION NOW FILLED UNTIL AUGUST 2024
We are looking for someone to come and be a part of, and support our family life. This is likely to include: some school runs in Rusholme, and home help including domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking and washing up, maybe one or two evening meals. The school runs might include coming a little early e.g. 7:30am to help get our 5-year-old son get ready and out for drop offs, and possibly a little play time after pick up too e.g. to 5pm.
Ideally this person would meet up with us and spend some time with our children, so that we can get to know one another, in the run up (over August), first.
We are looking for around 15-18 hours per week. We are open to considering which days work best for you, and would appreciate (and offer) the chance to review hours, shifts and timings as things develop.
We are after someone who is reliable and practical, and also loves children.
