My Requirements

Experienced, Live-Out, Part-Time Nanny for 1-Year-Old Child

Location: Bristol BS9

Duration: 1-2 years with potential for regular babysitting thereafter

Schedule:
- 1 full day per week (8 hours, on a weekday)
- 2 half days per week (4 hours each, on weekdays)
- 1 evening per week (4 hours)
- Additional meal prep (outside of childcare, 3 hours, adjoining other shifts)
- Some flexibility regarding days

About Us:
We are a caring and welcoming family looking for an experienced nanny to join us in nurturing our (soon to be) 1-year-old son. Our approach to parenting is positive, sensitive and responsive, always aiming to meet our child's needs with understanding and care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in interactive and developmental activities with our son, including taking him to local baby classes occasionally.
- Prepare and feed nutritious meals to our child, and cleaning the dining and kitchen areas.
- Handle child-related laundry and cot bedding changing.
- Cook a family meal at the end of the shift on two designated days.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and loving environment for our child to grow and thrive in.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in childcare, particularly with children under the age of 3.
- A nurturing, patient, and loving approach to child-rearing, with an emphasis on sensitive and responsive parenting.
- Ability to undertake light housekeeping duties related to the child, as well as cooking responsibilities.
- Someone who shares the family's parenting philosophy and adheres to the family routines.
- Excellent references from previous families.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
