About Me
I am at the beginning of my nannying career and have currently been a regular babysitter and nanny for a family as well as helping a registered childminder to gain experience.
I love to be creative in my free time ; drawing, painting, crafting, dancing and singing. I also really enjoy reading and have a habit of buying new books whenever I shop.
My Experience
During my time in primary schools I have mainly worked as a 1:1 across all year groups and therefore have experience of various support needs. I am passionate about children's wellbeing and when working with children I have loved supporting them to build their self esteem. There is nothing quite like meeting a child who is anxious, avoidant and isolated, working with them at their pace and seeing them thrive in all areas. I have supported children that are school avoidant, children who have suffered trauma, emotional regulation and more; when I provided pastoral support in a primary school setting. I always ensure that I build strong trusting relationships with not only the children but with their families as well.
My Qualifications
I have a childcare level 3 which I completed with an extra unit on sen. I have upto date safeguarding, DBS (teaching assistant one and a childminding one) and paediatric first aid. I have certificates in ADHD, autism and behaviour. I have also completed understanding mental health for children and adults, mental health first aid and suicide prevention.
My Availability
Now that my suitability letter has come through from ofsted I am childminding full-time but I will have some weekend availability so please do message me and hopefully I can help.
