About Me
Hi everyone! Here’s a little about me and maybe you’ll feel like you know me a little bit.
I’m originally from Pakistan, I grew up there my whole life. I came to the UK in 2018 to do my undergraduate and master's.
The reason I’m doing this is that I miss being around family and children and I have always loved caring for them.
I belong to a big family with lots of cousins and since I’m the oldest I was taking care of them most of the time. From taking them to picnics, nappy changes and solving fights between siblings. I myself have a sister who’s 8 years old and since my mother is now at an older age I was her guardian (well not legally but informally) most of the time during her infant years. I could say she is the reason I am generally good with kids and babies. I am aware parents need a break from time to time and a day out of the house and that’s where I would like to step in.
Other than that I love classical dancing, and I am learning the drums as well.
I also have a dog called Rico he’s a Labrador and I love him to bits so if you have a dog at home I am completely pet friendly.
My Experience
I have worked with orphaned and destitute children in my home country as a teacher in a school run by the Child protection bureau in Punjab, Pakistan. I taught the pre-schoolers and 1st graders and was the homeroom teacher's assistant as well.
In the Uk I have worked as a part time nanny for four amazing families ranging different backgrounds and different ages from 4 years to 10 years of age.
