About Me
I'm Bemna, a Film & Literature student at the University of Warwick. When looking after children, fostering an environment in which they know that they are safe and free is paramount to me. I aspire to maintain the same curiosity as children have, so I genuinely enjoy being around and conversing with them because there's so much we can learn from each other. As someone who seeks to write and create films in the future while nurturing my other interests and hobbies such as playing guitar, reading, cooking/baking and fashion, I would embrace the opportunity to share my knowledge, but I especially want to validate and encourage the passions of the children I look after -whether that be by letting them tell me all about it or doing a related activity whatever that may be. I hope those of you who share these similar sentiments to me would consider me to look after you kids :)
My Experience
I have three cousins aged 4-10 who I have played a role in looking after for several years, and family friends have trusted me to look after their kids. This has involved playing, cooking meals, helping with school work, helping them shower and get dressed/ready for bed. I also volunteered on a sunday school team during my gap year, meaning I have experience both with kids who may be on the more mellow, quieter side and those who have more energetic/extraverted qualities. When looking after my cousins and conflict arises, I believe in exhibiting patience and a desire to understand what they are feeling, while simultaneously having the ability to make it clear if a certain behaviour is not okay.
My Qualifications
At the moment, I hold a volunteer DBS, but am in the process of applying for a new one.
I currently don't hold any formal childcare qualifications.
My Availability
I will be available from Monday 22cnd April! Because of changes in my uni timetable, my schedule is likely to change slightly week to week.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Trial shift- £10/hour (but of course there would be no charge if you would just like to meet me in person)
Standard rate- £12/hour
Up to four kids- £15/hour
