About Me
Hello! My name is Aida Morrice and I am a Montessori childminder based in Kirkcaldy. I offer children ample opportunities for free, imaginative play, a variety of activities, and plenty of outdoor time!
I live just a few minutes walk away from Dunnikier Primary School and offer wraparound care for that catchment area, as well as a few pre school slots.
I am a qualified Montessori practitioner, and implement many Montessori methods and philosophies within my home. I have a large selection of toys, activities, and books for children, which help further their development and encourage them to reach their potential. I also have a large garden, with a swing, climbing frame, slides, and a summer house with a play kitchen and many outdoor toys. I believe every child can flourish when given the opportunity for free play, and aim to offer children freedom within a prepared environment as much as possible.
I live with my husband, Gavin, our 16 month old son, Alexander, and our two dogs, Milo and Bean.
I speak English, Arabic, and German fluently. The main language spoken in our home is English, although I may occasionally speak in Arabic with my son. I am able to accommodate families whose native language is not English, as I have many years of experience working with children who speak foreign languages. I am also happy to speak either German or Arabic with your child, if that happens to be your native or preferred language.
My Experience
I have many years of experience working with children. I worked for 4 years as a childminder while completing my Bachelor’s degree in Vienna. I also worked for 6 years as a tutor for children learning English and German. I am an experienced Pupil Support Assistant level 2 and worked for 2 years at the Dunnikier Primary School.
My Qualifications
BA in communication, Montessori childcare diploma, pediatric first aid, 2 years experience as PSA level 2

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I offer my services on weekdays, from 8am to 5:30pm. My hourly rate is £5.50 per hour. I also offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks at an extra charge. I offer full day and half day fees.
