Hello

I am 22 years old and recently started my new adventure of nannying! I have previously worked at a nursery which praised the practice of curiosity approach.

I adore children and aspire to give the best childcare whilst building a trusting relationship. I have worked with children ageing from 4 months to 5 Years including SEN children.

I currently have been working in childcare for 3 years in which I have learned so much and continue to better my qualifications and understanding of children.

I believe in the therapeutic approach in which I encourage children to show their feelings and be able to communicate. I prefer to ask questions like
“I wonder if you feel this way because..”
“I see you have big feelings, is there anything I can do to help”
“I understand how you feel, I wonder how I can make it better”

I feel communicating this way encourages children to open up and feel heard. I thrive on communication and language and my aim is to make all children know that they are heard and important.
