About Me
I'm one of those people that kids and animals just gravitate towards. I love kids and especially babies. I come from a big extended family so have a lot of experience looking after little ones. I'm creative and playful as well as kind and nurturing. I'm equally happy helping kids create an impromptu play or a work of art as I am rocking a baby to sleep.
My Experience
I have a lot of babysitting experience. I also have two nephews (aged 4 and 2) that I stay with regularly and help out with. My 4-year-old nephew has autism and developmental delays and I lived with them all during lockdown and was often the sole carer during that time.
My Qualifications
I have an up to date DBS check. I have a BSc and an MA and have a level 3 qualification in counselling and am studying towards my level 4.
My Availability
I'm available Wednesday-Saturday and the occasional Sunday.

Kate has looked after my 18 month old daughter a number of times now. She is a natural with children - she is calm, kind and very attentive. She is also a great entertainer and my daughter loves to spend time with her. I feel very relaxed leaving my daughter in Kate’s care - highly recommend!

We originally contacted Kate through childcare.co and she’s watched our 18-month old on several occasions since. She is so sweet with our daughter, has a very calming presence, is kind and reliable. Our daughter is always happy to see her. Highly recommend 🙂
