About Me
My name is Tamzin, i am 19 years old and i previously studied both business and law in college, and I currently work at buttercup Montessori kindergarten in galleywood.
I have a 7 year old brother with special educational needs which has strongly impacted my passion towards contributing to the learning and development of children.
I am responsible, kind, patient and caring and due to growing up in a big and loving family i feel like every child deserves the same experience growing up as I did!
My Experience
I currently work part time at buttercup Montessori kindergarten in Galleywood where I work with children from the ages of 3 months old to 5 years old.
I also have informal work experience babysitting my younger brother with special educational needs, and cousins from the ages of 2-13. I would help them with homework, play games, bake, have nice days out, bath them and put them to bed when needed.
When I was 13-16 I volunteered at my local equestrian centre where I would lead children round on ponies, help them untack and lead and support pony days and pony camps. Working here helped me create many bonds with many different children and their families as i have always been known to be quite chatty and outgoing.
I regularly babysit friends children from ages 1-10 in and out of term time and have always had good reviews.
My Qualifications
I have grade C and above in all my gcses, which include English, science, food, business and PE.
I also recieved a triple merit in my business and law course which i completed at chelmsford college in 2023.
My Availability
Due to being bank staff at the nursery, my days vary. However and evenings suit me best and I can do weekends and late nights.
