About Me

Hi there! My name is Robert, and I'm a 23 a year-old babysitter from Australia who recently moved to Scotland in 2021. I have a passion for childcare and a wealth of experience, and I'm eager to provide top-quality care to families in need.

Currently, I work as a care assistant at a nursery, where I help provide an environment that helps children develop their social, motor, and self-care skills. I am responsible for assisting the team in providing basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing. I also plan and lead activities, observe and monitor children, maintain a safe and clean environment, and communicate with parents.

Aside from my role as a care assistant, I have also worked as an aupair for a family with three children ages 4, 7, and 9. During my time as an aupair, I provided childcare services that included meal preparation, homework assistance, and activity planning.

In addition, I have also been a swim teacher, teaching children how to swim and how to be safe around water at San Remo Surf Life Saving's "Nippers" program. I have also worked as a workshop host for kids at Bunnings, where I facilitated fun and engaging activities for children of all ages.

I have also had work experience in school with midwives, where I learned valuable skills in caring for infants and young children. Lastly, I have volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a puppy raiser, providing care and training for future guide dogs.
