About Me
I am a fun loving, friendly and super active person who loves working with children! I have moved back from London after a year since being a full time live-in nanny to two children, B5 and G3. Since then I have had sole responsibility nannying for a G2.5 but I am looking to expand to more days since she is now at nursery 3 days a week meaning I have an extra couple of days and mornings/evenings spare!
I enjoy cooking, making cool projects out of recycled materials, going on long walks to enjoy the nature and fresh air, and being with my family <3
My Experience
I have always looked after younger children as early as newborn after helping my aunt raise my cousin who also has high functioning autism who is now 12.
I then was a mothers help for a family in Stockbridge for a little while, whilst the mother was starting a new job. This included helping around her whilst getting the children ready as well as any household duties surrounding the family and children.
I have also just come back after a year working with a family in north London as a full time nanny for the children. This included all essential daily tasks you would carry out as normal such as, waking up and getting ready for school/nursery, giving them breakfast and packing school bag with lunch box and any homework ect, dropping off and picking up from school, taking to any after school activities or play areas, taking kids out on weekends places to explore and have fun! Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as any healthy and nutritious snacks, bathing and any pre-bedtime preparation tasks that needed doing. I also managed to potty train the youngest as she was still in nappies when I started working for them and left with her being trained. All housekeeping tasks were required such as keeping all play areas and the children’s bedroom tidy and neat at all times, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms daily to ensure positive hygiene within the household, and any laundry from all parts of the family.
My Qualifications
I have a St. John the ambulance paediatric first aid certification that I completed over the course of 3 days of intense training in Basingstoke.
I also have a qualification in safe guarding and protection of children under the age of 12.
I have also completed my bronze Duke of Edinburgh award in 2018.
I have a level 2 & 3 certificate in food and hygiene.
