About Me
I am a teacher and live with my husband and two daughters in St Mary Platt, near Borough Green, Kent. My daughters are 8 and 10 and they attend a small independent primary school that I set up 5 years ago.
My Requirements
My younger daughter has ASD with ADHD and a PDA profile. She is very bright, creative and good fun, but suffers from anxiety which prevents her from sometimes going to school. This makes it hard for me to get to work sometimes, and also to get my other daughter to school.. I am therefore looking for someone who can be at home with her during these periods, when I can't be. Ideally I'd love to find someone local who can work flexibly, but if this isn't possible, then the below times would be ideal. The most important aspect of the role would be to build a strong relationship with my daughter as the more she trusts someone and has a connection with them, the more relaxed she is and the more activities she is open to. I would love someone who could offer some tutoring in a play-based, fun way. She is a great self-directed learner who loves dancing, singing, gymnastics and Harry Potter.
