My Summary

My Experience

I have very recent experiences in SEN schools, working with age ranges of 7-17 year olds with a variety of needs. I am also recently level 1 makaton trained and can communicate well with individuals using makaton and PECs cards. In my own experiences, using PECs cards helps not only myself, but other individuals when understanding each other. I’m my experiences this method of communication limits miss communication and misunderstandings . I also have experience regularly looking after my nieces and nephews whenever possible. Their ages range from 18 months to 10 years old.

My Qualifications

I have relevant qualifications in GSCE health and social care and A level health and social care. I am also currently studying SENDI (special educational needs disability and inclusion) at Leeds beckett and I am upcoming to my third and final year. Throughout university, my modules have included how children learn, the celebration of diversity, how to be an inclusive educator and more modules along these lines. These modules have taught me how to present myself and how to treat others in SEN and in Mainstream settings,

My Availability

Due to still being at university, throughout the summer months( between now and September), I am available the dates I have shown below. ( however would need some flexibility on certain weeks due to commitments/ holidays). However from September onwards, I am available Friday evenings, throughout Saturday and Sunday daytime. I would also be available some other days however this would have to be discussed at that time due to university commitments.

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
