About Me
I am 18 and looking for part time work as a babysitter in the evening and weekends. I work in the Aberdeenshire council and would like to get more experience in childcare as it is my dream to become a primary teacher or nursery practitioner. I am the oldest of 6 so I have quite a lot of experience with all phases of childcare.
My Experience
I have a HNC in children and young people, during this course I had work experience in a Nursey working with baby’s and toddlers. I have babysat for family looking after toddlers and children ages 5-9. While I’m school I completed work experience as a teaching assistant for S2s and was a YPI Mentor. I did this through covid after schools opened and followed strict covid guidelines and ensured the students followed them while getting the most out of there classroom experience. These experiences have given me great insight into the growth and development of children and how important it is to nurture there curiosity and allow them space to grow as individuals while ensuring there safety and happiness.
My Qualifications
I have a HNC in children and young people, during this course I had work experience in a Nursey working with baby’s and toddlers.
I have a higher qualification in English and Drama and a National 5 qualification in Mathematics.
