My Experience

My university course has helped me gain valuable experience in various nurseries and schools.
I completed 3 weeks of work placement at a nursery in Cheltenham, this experience allowed me to see the professional responsibilities that are needed within a childcare setting and to know what is expected of me from other practitioners and managers.
In November 2021 I completed a 3-week placement at a junior school in a year 3 class.
In March 2022 I completed another 3-week placement at a preparatory school in a year 1 class.
In March 2023 I completed a 6-week placement at the same preparatory school as previous in a year 2 class.
I have past experiences of nannying and babysitting through previous jobs with childcare platforms
I worked in a nursery for 2 months before moving back home to West Wales.
Currently a teaching assistant in a primary school.
