I am a dedicated mother with a soon-to-be seven-month-old baby girl, and I am excited to transition back into the childcare field and pursue a career in Childminding. My journey as a nursery nurse and new parent has not only given me invaluable hands-on experience in nurturing and caring for infants but has also fuelled my passion for providing a safe and enriching environment for children of all ages.
My Experience
I have wanted to work with children for as long as I can remember. My first-hand experience in the field began during my school years when I completed a work placement in a primary school for work experience and this initial exposure set me to my childcare journey.
During my time in sixth-form, I pursued a course in health and social care, undertaking weekly placements in a nursery to gain hands-on experience. This reinforced my commitment to nurturing and educating young minds.
My dedication to childcare continued into university, where I pursued a degree in Early Childhood Studies, achieving first-class honors. Throughout my academic journey, I complemented my studies by working as a nursery practitioner. This role allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations, further enhancing my skills in child development and care.
Subsequently, I transitioned to a position in a primary school as a teaching assistant, where I have had the privilege of actively supporting students' educational growth. Currently, I am on maternity leave, cherishing the experience of caring for my own child, which has deepened my understanding of the unique needs and joys of early childhood.
As I prepare to return to the childcare profession following my maternity leave, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for providing exceptional care and education to young children. My extensive background and first-hand experience equip me to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

I have first-class degrees in Early Childhood Studies with experience working with children since 2012.
