I'm a highly experienced English tutor with a track record in helping students at all levels get excellent results at GCSE and A-level.
I also offer affordable online courses in key aspect of English via my website The Virtual English Tutor.
My Experience
I have been tutoring one-to-one since 2010. Prior to that, I taught in an independent school and lectured in higher and further education. I have also worked as a journalist and am a published author.
My Qualifications
I have three degrees, one in English from Oxford University and an MA and PhD in Philosophy from Essex University.
My Availability
My teaching times are the afternoons and early evenings. There is flexibility for sessions at other times in the run-up to exams.

My fees are £55 per hour of tuition, which includes materials and feedback on written work.
A discount of 10% is applied to bookings of six or more lessons.
