About Me
I am a qualified primary teacher and qualified dyslexia specialist teacher. I offer 1:1 tutoring in all primary curriculum areas.
I am passionate about supporting pupils for them to grow in confidence and become more positive about learning. I enjoy getting to know each child and work hard to create a nurturing environment in which learners can flourish and make progress. Focusing on mental well-being whilst enabling pupils to learn is a key part of my work.
Sessions take place in a calm environment in my home or at your home if preferred.
My Experience
I have 25 years of teaching experience and enjoy working with pupils with needs ranging from Autism, dyslexia, ADHD, PDA and those who have challenges and anxiety around attending school. I have been a Head of a special school for pupils with autism, complex needs and SEMH and a SENCo for 10 years.
My Qualifications
B Ed degree (Hons) qualified teaching status
OCR level 5 teaching pupils with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia)
