About Me
Hello! I’m Lucy - about to graduate from Newcastle University with a degree in English Language. I am starting a job as a teaching assistant in Madrid in October so looking for some work and experience just before I move there! I have many hobbies - cooking especially (so more than happy to help out there) - I love days out and finding new activities. I am confident, friendly and reliable.
My Experience
I have had various roles in childcare and babysitting - including school trips, overnight stays and homework help.
Alongside my degree, I volunteered with a charity called NEST, who provide support for refugees in the North East. As part of my work with NEST, I lead sessions for their schools support project. This includes working with groups of 7-8 children (aged 4-10 years old).
I aspire to be a primary school teacher eventually.
I also have a 150 hour TEFL certification, so may be of use for homework help and tutoring!
My Qualifications
A-Levels (2018-2020) - A*BBC (English Language, French, Psychology, Extended Project)
Undergraduate Degree (2020-2023) - BA English Language, predicted 2:1
My Availability
During the day, evenings and overnight throughout the week and weekends. I am very flexible around my other part time job.
Happy to do school pick ups and drop offs too.
