Hi! Thank you for taking a look at my profile. I’m Jody, a newly registered childminder in the Castleford area. I live with my partner, Jamie, and our 1 year old son. I provide care for children 0-5 in a welcoming, home from home environment.
My Experience
I’ve recently become a registered childminder after working in retail management for almost 10 years. Growing up I was always surrounded by children, I became an Aunty at ten years old and I’m now an Aunty to seven and a mum of one! I have a naturally caring nature and have experience of catering to dietary needs. In the past I have volunteered at a children’s play group, creating safe and fun play environments for children, planning and overseeing activities and supervising children of multiple ages.
My Qualifications
I have done my pre-registration childminding training, this includes: Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Safe Sleep. I also have full Paediatric First Aid and certificates in Prevent Duty and FGM.
