My Experience

Through my experience volunteering at ‘Busy Bees Nursery and Preschool’, I have gained many valuable, transferable skills. I held a teaching assistant role, working with children aged between 2-4 years of age. My position involved supporting children in their learning and development across the 7 areas of Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and administration tasks such as organising files and folders for the developmental progress of children. Due to these responsibilities, I have a concrete awareness of safeguarding and risk assessments.

In addition to my volunteer work, I was previously employed at ‘Making Waves’ Swim School for 4 years as a part time swim teacher and poolside lifeguard. This job involved teaching young children to swim, including those with additional needs. I am First Aid trained, meaning that I can work effectively in a high-pressure environment and prioritise multiple deadlines simultaneously.

During my recent employment at 'Jingle Bell House' Day Nursery, I was responsible for the 0-2 year old children as well as the older children on occasions. This job role included storytelling, assisting play, nap times, making meals, feeding, cleaning and outdoor playtime. In previous years I have also been an evening babysitter for a family with 3 children. This job included helping to complete homework, bedtime routine and reading stories.

My Qualifications

- 9 A*-C GCSE grades including English, Maths and Science.
- 3 A Levels in Psychology, English Literature and Drama.
- BSc (Hons) Psychology Degree (2:1).
- First Aid trained.
- DBS checked.

My Availability

I am available for babysitting evenings every now and then and can speak with parents regarding availability.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

I charge £15 per hour for my babysitting services.
