My Summary

My Experience

During my time at Portland Kindergarten, I have achieved my NCFE Cache Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner and then my NCFE Cache Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator).
As part of my job role I have supported children’s learning and development and ensuring their welfare, including parent partnership and partnership with local authorities or professionals.
I have gained extensive experience with children with SEND including working closely with multiple children diagnosed with Autism. Including carrying out care routines, supporting communication & language development (both verbal and non-verbal), carrying out EHCP & IEP targets.
I have worked positively in partnership with other professionals in order to carry out an appropriate care or learning plans.
I have developed many life skills, such as maintaining a tidy and clean environment to ensure the safety of the children and staff. Carrying out cleaning and cooking roles.
I have worked as part of a team and individually, planning in the moment and using skills such as thinking quickly on my feet, to problem solve in many situations and keeping children engaged.
I have had multiple key children all within the same time, showing my ability to be able to plan activities and encourage development and learning based on the children’s individual needs and age and stage of development.
I have a Paediatric First Aid certificate and Level 2 food hygiene.
During this role, I have met individual needs of the children, including their physical and emotional wellbeing and allergies/dietary requirements.

I have volunteered within my youth group at the church that I attend. This has helped me to enhance my leadership skills and build confidence.
Through this I have gained experience with children and young adults between the ages of 11-18. This includes behaviour management.
I have worked within a team and individually to carry out group discussions, games and activities. Including planning and organising day trips.

My Qualifications

NCFE Cache Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)

NCFE Cache Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner

I am also DBS checked and hold a paediatric first aid certificate and level 2 food hygiene certificate.

My Availability

I am looking for a full time position, working Monday - Friday, I am open to discuss time availability with families.

• Nannying from £14.50 per hour (gross)
