My Summary

My Experience

I often babysit children of various ages whether that is my younger cousins with the youngest being two and the oldest being ten. I also have continuously babysat for a family with two young children, when I started working with the family the youngest child was three and the oldest was five. Some examples of how I contributed to their busy lifestyle was helping the family in the morning by getting the children up and ready for the day including making them breakfast. I would also watch them during the day where we would do a range of different activities such as arts and crafts, playing, helping them with their reading and writing skills and work alongside them to complete their homework. Finally, I would also pick both children up from their school and nursery, walk them to the park where we would play and allow the children to spend quality time to discuss anything that happened throughout the day as I believe it is important for the children to use their voices in order for them to build confidence. We would then walk home where I would give the children a bath and get them ready for dinner when their parent would return.

My Qualifications

I have eight GCSEs and one BTEC qualification. I then carried on to receive three A Level qualifications. I have currently just completed my first year of university where I am studying Communications, Media and Marketing.

My Availability

I am currently home from university during the summer meaning I am very flexible with any given schedule.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

I am very flexible with my fees depending on how many children are in my care at one time and what the given tasks are. The rate I worked with for the previous ongoing family I worked for was
£12 an hour for two children.
