My Experience

I have gained a lot of experience babysitting children of all ages over the years, both through formal babysitting roles and by helping out friends and family. I’ve had the chance to work with toddlers, primary-age children, and older kids, which has taught me how to adapt to each child’s personality, needs, and energy levels. Every experience has helped me develop patience, creativity, and problem-solving skills—whether it’s keeping little ones entertained on a rainy day, helping with homework, or managing sibling squabbles calmly and positively.
I’m proud to have built strong relationships with the families I’ve worked with, many of whom I now consider friends. This has given me a great understanding of how to communicate clearly with parents, provide regular updates, and ensure that every child feels happy, safe, and cared for. I’ve also learned how to handle small accidents, manage routines, and create activities that are both fun and educational, which has made me confident in my ability to look after children independently.
My babysitting experience has taught me how to balance responsibility with fun—keeping children safe and engaged while allowing them to explore, be creative, and enjoy themselves. All of this has strengthened my leadership, patience, and organisational skills.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m currently completing my degree in Psychology and Criminology, which has given me a deeper understanding of human behaviour, development, and social dynamics. My studies have strengthened my communication skills, empathy, and patience, all of which I bring into my babysitting. Balancing university with babysitting has also taught me time management, reliability, and professionalism—qualities that parents can trust.
Overall, my experience has given me a deep understanding of children’s needs, strong relationships with families, and the skills to create fun, safe, and nurturing environments where kids can thrive. Every job has been a learning opportunity, and I’m excited to bring all of that knowledge, care, and enthusiasm to new families.

My Qualifications

I am currently completing a degree in Psychology and Criminology, graduating in 2026, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, and communication. I have extensive hands-on experience babysitting children of all ages, helping with homework, planning activities, and managing daily routines. I am confident in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, and I hold a First Aid certification, ensuring I can respond calmly and effectively to minor accidents or emergencies. Over the years, I have developed excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills through both my studies and working closely with families. I am patient, responsible, and reliable, with a natural ability to connect with children, make them feel comfortable, and ensure they have a fun and happy time.

My Availability

Currently, I am available on weekends, but starting from the first week of April, once I finish university, I will be available full-time, including evenings. I’m happy to be flexible to suit your family’s needs and can adapt to different schedules. You can count on me to be reliable, punctual, and ready to provide a fun, safe, and caring environment for your children whenever you need.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.50 per hour

My babysitting fee is £10.50 per hour, and I’m happy to discuss longer sessions or regular arrangements. I aim to provide reliable, caring, and engaging childcare that gives parents peace of mind, while keeping the experience fun and enjoyable for the children.
