My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Meriem Zidane! I’m 20 years old and in my final year at university, graduating in 2026. I come from a big, lively family with so many sisters, so I’ve grown up surrounded by children, laughter, and all the little joys (and chaos!) that come with a busy household. Growing up in such a big family has taught me patience, creativity, and how to make every moment fun—skills I bring to every babysitting job!
I provide a fun, safe, and caring babysitting service for children of all ages. I love keeping kids entertained with games, arts and crafts (messy is part of the fun!), baking, silly storytime with lots of voices, and outdoor adventures. I’m happy to help with homework, reading, meal or snack prep, and bedtime routines, all while keeping the day cheerful and playful.
Because of my experience with my sisters, I know how to adapt to different personalities, handle little challenges calmly, and make every child feel happy, included, and cared for. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can laugh, explore, learn, and just be themselves—while parents can relax knowing their little ones are in good hands.
I’m friendly, approachable, and reliable, and I love adding a little humour and fun to the day. Whether it’s giggles over a messy craft project or turning a walk in the park into a mini adventure, I aim to make every moment memorable, happy, and full of smiles!
My Experience
I have gained a lot of experience babysitting children of all ages over the years, both through formal babysitting roles and by helping out friends and family. I’ve had the chance to work with toddlers, primary-age children, and older kids, which has taught me how to adapt to each child’s personality, needs, and energy levels. Every experience has helped me develop patience, creativity, and problem-solving skills—whether it’s keeping little ones entertained on a rainy day, helping with homework, or managing sibling squabbles calmly and positively.
I’m proud to have built strong relationships with the families I’ve worked with, many of whom I now consider friends. This has given me a great understanding of how to communicate clearly with parents, provide regular updates, and ensure that every child feels happy, safe, and cared for. I’ve also learned how to handle small accidents, manage routines, and create activities that are both fun and educational, which has made me confident in my ability to look after children independently.
My babysitting experience has taught me how to balance responsibility with fun—keeping children safe and engaged while allowing them to explore, be creative, and enjoy themselves. I’ve learned how to plan activities that match their interests, encourage learning in playful ways, and adapt quickly if something isn’t working. All of this has strengthened my leadership, patience, and organisational skills.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m currently completing my degree in Psychology and Criminology, which has given me a deeper understanding of human behaviour, development, and social dynamics. My studies have strengthened my communication skills, empathy, and patience, all of which I bring into my babysitting. Balancing university with babysitting has also taught me time management, reliability, and professionalism—qualities that parents can trust.
Overall, my experience has given me a deep understanding of children’s needs, strong relationships with families, and the skills to create fun, safe, and nurturing environments where kids can thrive. Every job has been a learning opportunity, and I’m excited to bring all of that knowledge, care, and enthusiasm to new families.
