About Me
Hi everyone, I am from Hong Kong with a bachelor degree, majoring in Languages. I can speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin and a little French. I have a real passion for teaching and building a trusting and caring relationship with children. And I have been private tutoring since 2004. I was a teaching assistant in a montessori nursery in London, also a former tutor for primary and secondary school students. Currently I am a private tutor for English, Maths, Chinese and French with different ages range from 1-14 years old and some of my students were Sen (Autistic, learning difficulties, Down Sydrome, speech delay and non-verbal). I am also a mother of a 10 year-old so it's easy for me to get along with children.
My Experience
I am currently working as a private tutor with different ages. I am experienced with different age groups as well as students with Sen( autism, learning difficulties, Down syndrome, non verbal etc). I prepared exercises and learning schedule according to their levels. I was also a SEND TA in local Primary Schools working across different year groups. Before that I worked as a teaching assistant in a well established Montessori Nursery in London. I was also a parent volunteer and was the secretary of PSA at a local primary school that I always take school trips and hold activities with children. I also worked as a tutor for different age groups in Primary schools and education centres since 2004. I teach English, Mathematics, Chinese, elementary French and 11+ curriculum.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor degree in English and Chinese Languages, certificates in Pharmacology and usage of medicine.
Recently, I have completed a counselling course from Lincoln College.
I also studied Philosophy and French.
Meanwhile, I have also completed a first-aid course and safe guarding course.
My Availability
Mon to Fri from 10 am to 6pm, time and rate may slightly differ according to student’s level and location.
Online tutoring is more flexible and could be on any days of the week.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour

Kristy has been teaching our children for about five months.
She is an excellent teacher who provides very thoughtful and careful instruction in speaking, writing, and reading, always tailored to the children’s level.
Most importantly, our children enjoy the lessons so much that they want to continue learning with her.
We highly recommend her as an English tutor.

Thank you so much! It’s such a delight to teach your children. They always listen and both are very diligent. I truly enjoy teaching them and helping them make progress in their work. We have so much fun in the lessons and we have built such a lovely bonding through the time. I am really glad and proud to see how much they have grown and achieved all these time.
