Hi, my name is James. I am close to finishing my PGCE course, and with 5 years of childcare experience I would love the opportunity to be your babysitter. I believe the most important thing is to ensure each day is fun and filled with opportunities for development, and I have a wide range of experiences that I am happy to share.
My Experience
I have 5 years of experience working with children with a wide range of needs. My work has been as a baby sitter, court appointed child supervisor, children's care home worker, tutor, and trainee teacher. I am currently training as a teacher with a SEND specialist qualification.
A have a lot of experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, GDD, and with a wide variety of physical disabilities. Most of my experience is in a 1:1 and 2:1 setting, and a large part of my role has been supporting the children I've worked with in achieving key emotional and academic milestones through play.
I have a level 3 first aid certificate with one year of experience working as a school first aider.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 first aid certificate
I have PREVENT training
I have asthma training
I have training in administering medication to children
I am working towards my PGCE with over 70 in my assignments
My Availability
I am free Monday through to Friday during the 6 weeks summer holiday.
