Welcome to Megan Bess Messy Explorers
I am registered "OUTSTANDING" by Ofsted and based in Berryfields, Aylesbury.
I am first aid trained including Paediatric Anaphylaxis training and have a level 2 in food hygiene.
I provide a high-quality home-from-home childcare experience for all children, promoting learning through play and encouraging various activities like arts and crafts, outdoor outings and lots of fun with messy play.
My Experience
Here's a little bit about my setting:
For my little messy explorers I have a variety of exciting activities planned through out each day. As I strongly believe that children learn through fun and playful activities. Here are a few examples of my activities;

And lots more ideas. I also do monthly themed topics for example the hungry caterpillar.
Everyday we will go out exploring for example to coombe hill or wendover woods. We will play games "who can find or spot this" and make twig people or an animals. I also have a little shetland that the children can groom and take out for walks. During the first lockdown we made a forst area at my yard so they children have a safe area to play.
