About Me

We have two boys, full of energy, laughter and intrigue. The oldest is starting school in September, our youngest is 13 months old. Our toddler is such a happy little soul and the oldest is lively and lovable. We live in an old cottage with a good outdoor play area.

My Requirements

Registered Childminder
Part Time Nanny

·      9am ish- 4pm ish
·      3 days per week (flexible about which days)
·      End of Sept / Start Oct
·      Childminder or Nanny

We live on the border of St Albans and Hemel and are looking for someone to look after our toddler while our oldest is at school (in St Albans). There may be the odd occasion we will need our oldest to be collected from school (or after school club) and cared for until I return from work. However primarily we are looking for someone to look after our little one between 9am – 4pm ish.

We are open to either a Childminder or Nanny, we would just like to find the right fit for our family. I’m looking to return to work after a period of extended maternity that turned into 4 years of becoming a SAHM. My contract and start date have yet to be fixed (but looking towards end of Sept), therefore we are a little flexible at the moment and can bend to suit availability of the childcare provider. I’m hoping to be able to do the school drop-off’s and pick-ups myself and work during school hours.

We will also need cover during the school holidays for both children.

If you are interested, please message me to discuss further. Many Thanks for reading x

Childminder:
We would like to find someone fun and creative, with a love of the great outdoors and a sense of adventure who can also give big cuddles and enjoys reading lots of stories.
Trips out and about would be fab, whether just to the park and library or to the farm or zoo. We would like to find someone nurturing and caring that loves toddlers and has time to play one on one as much as possible.

Nanny:
Looking after our little one’s needs are number one for us and we would love for someone fun and creative, with a love of the great outdoors and a sense of adventure who can also give big cuddles and enjoys reading lots of stories. We know all too well what a mess they can make during a day of play at home and we don’t expect the house to be spotless but someone that would be happy to tidy up a little would be a bonus! Preparing meals would also be beneficial but not 100% necessary. My husband works from home (in a separate office) and enjoys cooking so is usually happy to make the meals if I ask him to.

·      Relevant childcare qualifications with experience of toddlers and reception age children
·      Able to provide references
·      First aid trained
·      Ideally, we need a driver (with current full clean driving licence)
·      We would prefer a non-smoker
·      Note: We have a friendly cat
