About Me
I have a degree in Art History and Theatre Studies and am a recent Acting graduate after moving to South East London to study at the drama school Rose Bruford. As my degrees suggest I have a passion for the arts, creative expression, and education. I love going to the cinema and the theatre, I’m an avid painter and I love to travel, especially to Southern Italy where my family are from as I’m half Italian - I can also cook a mean gnocchi! Coming from a big Italian family, I also love to spend time with loved ones. I’m also into fitness and swim and practice yoga regularly. And most importantly I love spending time with children, helping them to learn, love, and grow.
My Experience
My baby sister is disabled and so I grew up helping to care for her which gave me first hand experience and a passion for caring for children and giving them the patience and love they deserve.
I also worked as a youth worker with a voluntary community group called The Den. I was trained to visit schools and talk to pupils and deliver workshops/presentations to them on social issues such as drug misuse and sexual health. This work trained me to communicate with children, allowing them to feel safe and feel able to open up to me.
Working at Lush, part of my role involved being a party host which helped me cultivate a natural rapport with children. It trained me to be able to safeguard and manage larger groups of children so that I could provide a fun and safe environment for them to thrive in!
I’m also currently undergoing training to be a teaching assistant as I want to follow my passion for supporting and moulding children during their important formative years.
