About Me
Hi! Im a mother of two beautiful boys, B5 and B1 and my husband and I run an independent restaurant business in London so need flexible work hours that often runs into after-school hours, especially with the trains being so awful.
I find the juggle between being a self-employed mum and work very hard as we are going through a crucial expansion in our business, but recognise i need to have more help at home to give my boys the attention and love they deserve. My husband is very hand-on and present at home, but as we work together, its difficult for either one of us to be focused at home or at work.
My Requirements
Pick up kids from school or nursery, so driving own car would be useful, then assisting eldest son with tutoring/after school work, and getting both kids fed on or provide snacks. Im a Michelin-starred chef so I always aim to cook the boys either own meals/have it prepared but you would need to warm/heat it up.
Bonus would be to get kids washed/ready for bed and if needed get them to sleep if my husband and I had to work late but this is fairly rare and we would usually book a babysitter but would offer the hours to our carer first.
If there are days we are working from home, and the kids are at school nursery, general housekeeping would involve laundry, putting toys away, clothes, hovering, mopping, doing food shop or errands. We are very flexible and so its most important to us to find the right carer who gets on with my boys.
For the right carer/person who we have a great relationship with, we would also be interested in bringing on holidays with us - as my husband and I also work abroad occasionally.
