About Me
With 5 years' experience working in educational establishments varying from primary schools, daycares and nurseries, I have developed core teaching skills. This was via demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, organisation and emotional intelligence. My current role in a nursery, has helped me to grow in teaching young children to enjoy learning about their environment through fun games and activities and their development of social awareness through interactions with other children. My Experience
My experience includes working in primary schools, nurseries and daycares. My duties included but were not limited to;
Encouraging young children to enjoy learning about their environment through fun games and activities. Encouraging the development of social awareness through interactions with other children. Preparing exciting lessons that make use of visual prompts, audio and colour. Ensuring that children are collected each day by their designated parents, relatives or carers. Ensuring that classrooms and outside play areas are child-friendly and safe. Keeping up to date with early years learning developments, including new activities to try in classes or new styles of teaching. Strong communication, cooperation and teamwork when working with colleagues. Promoting health and safety, safeguarding, equality and diversity. Strive towards ensuring the best outcome for children, their abilities and prepare them for school. Support children with special educational needs. Encouraging positive behaviour to create a safe nurturing environment for all students.
My Qualifications
Diploma as an Early Years Practitioner in Childcare
Certificate in Health and Social Care level 1, 2 and 3 (first year)
My Availability
My current availability is weekends, as I am in full-time employment at a Nursery, Monday to Friday 9am til 6pm.
I am available some Sundays, but it varies.
