Hi, I’m Zainab! After studying Btec Business, I recently just came out of sixth-form and am looking forward to my next steps at university. Coming from a big family, I have been surrounded by infants, toddlers and young children for majority of my life and have always taken an interest in helping care for my cousins and nieces and nephews. I genuinely enjoy taking care of young children as I approach each child as an individual who I get to help and teach. By seeing them grow and flourish as they learn new skills in life and as a person, my goal is to establish a setting in your home where your child feels safe and content while being actively involved in fun worthwhile activities. I want to build a trusted relationship with both you and your child to ensure complete comfortability that they are in the safe hands of someone who is kind, compassionate, loving and very happy with the chance to work your family!
My Experience
For work experience, I volunteered for a few months at The Sunflower Nursery and greatly enjoyed my time there. When the children arrived, I welcomed them, gave them food and snacks, came up with educational activities for them to participate in and interacted with them all day to make sure they had fun. I also spent time at the primary school of my high-school as a way to give back when I returned to the sixth-form. My different activities ranged from helping the kids to read and write to taking them out on walks around the block so they were able to see and experience the local town that surrounded our school. After having these roles, I knew I would like to work as a babysitter during the summer once I finished my course at sixth-form and I am confident that I can create a nurturing environment for your children.
