About Me
I am a 4th-year Medical Student currently studying at the University of Nottingham. I am currently on placement and am therefore in Nottingham all year round so I will be a reliable babysitter as I don't have to go home for holidays. I am dedicated and committed and love working with children. I have been described as extremely friendly and approachable and am always willing to help. I also enjoy having a fun time and making sure your child does too! As will be my career, it is in my nature to care for and look after people to the highest of standards, and it is something I very much enjoy doing.
My Experience
I have done a lot of work with children. I was a gymnastics coach for 3 years, coaching any age between 2-14 years old. This involved being very adaptable to many situations and also being welcoming and friendly to the kids. I also had to undertake many safeguarding courses in able to do this job. I also worked at a primary school breakfast and after school club, looking after primary school children from nursery to year 6, playing with them, providing them with breakfast and snacks and where needed, helping out with their homework. I have also done a bit of babysitting for friends in my time.
Further to this, I have worked as a carer for a lady with special needs for 3 years, involving cooking with her and taking her to swimming and riding lessons, so I am very capable at looking after people and getting them to where they need to be.
Other than these jobs I have also worked as a waitress in a restaurant/pub for 3 years and volunteered at charities such as Waggy Tails Club and Crisis at Christmas.
My Qualifications
I have previous completed a Paediatric First Aid course with St John's Ambulance.
I am DBS checked and have completed may safeguarding courses for the various places that I work.
I have a BioMedical Science degree as well as 3 A-Levels and 1 AS Level and will be achieving my BMBS in two years time.
