Hi my name is Abbey and I am 26 years old. I am a first time mum to a beautiful little boy called Finley who is 8 months old. I moved to Aylesbury in April 2022 after growing up near Heathrow. My fiancé and I wanted to move so we could raise our son in a more rural and quieter area. I have worked in schools since 2016 but for the last academic year I have been on maternity leave, so with that coming to an end I am in search of a more flexible job. I absolutely love working with children so whilst I am caring for my own son I would love to help a family part time and continue in a career I know very well. I have my own car and have a clean driving license.
My Experience
I have worked in two different primary schools working with children between the ages of 2-11 years old since 2016. I have worked alongside children with various needs enabling them to feel safe and secure in their environment. Over the years I have worked as a nursery nurse, teaching assistant, higher level teaching assistant and between 2021-22 worked as a qualified teacher. This academic year I have been on maternity leave.
My Qualifications
I have a level 2 in early years education.
Between 2017-2020 I received a BA Hons degree in primary education which enabled me to go on to completing my teacher training and receiving my qualified teacher status in 2021. Since then I have worked 1 year as a qualified teacher before going on maternity leave.
My Availability
I am looking to nanny for a family 3 days a week. The days can be dependent on the families needs as I have no specific requirements on what those 3 days are.
