About Me
I am a young person with a penchant for science and maths; I recently completed A levels in biology, chemistry and mathematics as A level subjects. Science has been my main passion since I was young, which also began from primary school; the fascination of knowing how the world, and beyond our world works, from the anatomy of us as humans, to the principle of motion has sparked a curiosity and an eagerness to learn more. Therefore, I would also like to be a part of sparking that curiosity in young people’s minds and expand their knowledge of science to hopefully inspire others to find their passion in STEM. Furthermore, I believe mathematics is a critical subject in developing skills such as analysis and problem solving therefore aiding students in grasping, what can be, the challenging nature of maths is an exciting opportunity. I achieved all grade 9s during my GCSEs and therefore I believe my academic commitment promotes me as a positive role model for children, and will also allow me to offer an educational experience for young people.
My Experience
I achieved all grade 9s (A**) in biology, chemistry, mathematics, english language, english literature, business studies, fine art, french, religious studies and physics. I completed my A levels in biology, chemistry and mathematics in June of this year (2023). Throughout my time at sixth form, I volunteered at local primary schools to run STEM clubs after school which entailed engaging in activities that develop the students understanding of science using activities to demonstrate the endless possibilities in science. Moreover, I balanced a part time job throughout my A levels and hence improved my organisation skills, as well as my communication skills and independence.
