About Me
Hi! My name is Sara and I am 19 years old. I really enjoy working with children and I am working towards becoming a teacher. I am very friendly and approachable as children do get used to me very quickly. I do not shout or scream at children but I do get to their level and talk to them very calmly. I also do not swear at all. I love to swim, sing, taking care of children. I love to shop and trying new things. I can cook a few simple things that are healthy for children and will follow dietary requirements as well. I will always feed back for the handover of the children about what they have been doing and if they have any injuries and if I see them (the child) fall or get hurt, I will always check the area on the Childs' body to see if there are any marks on there just in case they need to be fed back and any medical attention that gets done during my shift I will phone the parent letting them know what has happened (if moderate and or severe)
My Experience
I have experience in working with children in primary schools in year 3, year 4 and year 5. I have also had experience in various Nurseries working with babies, toddlers and preschoolers (from ages 1 - 4 years). (worked in both nurseries and primary schools as agency staff). During y time with y agency, I have had a lot of experience with working with children who have SEN needs. I also have a 9 year old cousin that I look after as he has both Autism and ADHD. I also have had experience in babysitting my younger cousins that are from the ages 23 months - 9 years. I have my DBS check that I use for work (with the agency) and another one that I use for my college placement. I can change nappies and I can help supervise children that goes to the potty or the toilet. I will go along with any routine that the children I have worked with that are given by the parents.
My Qualifications
I have my level 2 childcare that I have done in my GCSEs and I have my level 2 in health and social care that I have done in college. I also have a level 4 in my English and Maths that I did in my GCSEs and in college
My Availability
I can only do weekends as I have college and placements from there and will be busy Monday to Friday.
