About Me

As a recent psychology graduate, I am looking to begin a new adventure and gain experience within the area of childcare. Moving back home has presented me with the perfect opportunity to utilize my knowledge and skills in child development and psychology while providing caring and dependable babysitting services to families in the area. With a deep understanding of children's emotional and cognitive needs, I am dedicated to creating a safe and stimulating environment for your little ones to grow and thrive. As a responsible and compassionate caregiver, I am committed to fostering a positive and nurturing experience for both parents and children alike.

My Experience

Although limited with childcare expereince, I did babysit before I headed to University. While at University I volunteered with a school for chidren with additional learning needs and neurodevelopmental problems. This taught me to take an individualised approach with each child to cater to their own learning needs. I also enhanced my patience and empathy skills, as progress may take time and each child deserves understanding and support. I have effective communication skills, ensuring clear and supportive interactions. I have developed strategies to manage challenging behaviours positively and constructively. I foster a safe and constructive environment at all times.
