Hi I’m Helly!!
I am 18 and having just completed my A-Levels, I am taking a gap year before I pursue a medicine degree in London next year. My hope is that one day I will be a paediatrician as I love working with children. I would describe my self as an approachable, friendly and reliable person.
In my year out I plan to work, volunteer (teaching children english abroad), and travel, which does mean that I will not be available from January onwards. (NB: please contact for more availability info).
I have an intermediate level of french which I am excited to improve (I’m moving to Paris in Jan whilst nannying). I also love music and sports and am excited to get involved with whatever your little ones are passionate about and enjoy doing.

My Experience
Please note I am not an Ofsted registered child minder or nanny but I do have a good breadth of experience with children including:
- Baby sitting for 4 different families with children aged 1-3
-Part time childcare (2 days per week) for a 2 and 3 year old, including a full 12 hour day
- Work experience placement at a Nursery working with ages 2-4 years
- Volunteering with children ages 5-12 at a local activity club
- Volunteering at a primary school teaching english literature for children aged 11-12
- Volunteer teacher in Sri Lanka with children aged 6-12.
My Qualifications
- 3 A-levels, 10 GCSE’s, Starting a medical degree in 2024
- Paediatric first aid training
My Availability
I am available from September to January and I am very flexible during this time.
I can provide mostly adhoc style baby sitting, but am open for discussing something more regular during this period.
